Nicole Chinea, CAPP
Senior Project Manager
Nicole is a Senior Project Manager with WGI, Inc. With over 15 years of parking operations experience across many parking sectors, Nicole works collaboratively with the Parking Solutions team and other WGI disciplines. Nicole focuses on providing high level customer service to public and private sector clients. Nicole has held leadership roles in both public and private parking organizations. Prior to joining WGI, Nicole was the Vice President of Operations at Winpark. Nicole’s oversight included 26 operations, consisting of 19,000 collective parking spaces, 4 valet operations, and one patient transportation operation across three regions-Houston, Dallas, and Phoenix. As the Director of Parking and Transportation for the Texas Medical Center Nicole was responsible for managing approximately 54,000 parking spaces and campus wide transportation services. Lastly, while with the City of Houston, Nicole was the Division Project Manager where she was responsible for planning and executing strategic projects for the city’s parking operation.
Nicole holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Houston Downtown, is a Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP) and a Certified Green Garage Assessor. She has been the recipient of numerous professional accolades including the International Parking Institute Parking Program of the Year Award for a City of Houston parking meter project. Nicole is currently serving on the TPTA Board of Directors as an Executive member. She is also on the Education Development and Awards Recognition Committees for the International Parking Institute. Nicole is also serving her second year as a mentor for Women in Parking.

With the recent merger of these two firms, service offerings have grown to include planning, transportation engineering, landscape architecture, and more with its recent merger with WGI, an award winning multidisciplinary engineering firm.
