The Texas Parking & Transportation Association (TPTA) has appointed Dawn Marti and the DCM Management, LLC (DCM) team to the role of Conference Management and Association Marketing. DCM will provide a wide range of services including conference and event planning and implementation, membership acquisition and retention, and marketing and communications support.

Since 1987, the TPTA has been a vehicle for individuals engaged with parking and transportation businesses in municipalities, hospitals, airports, universities and parking authorities throughout the state and beyond. TPTA’s mission is to promote its members in the provision and operation of adequate, safe, efficient, convenient and economical public parking and transportation as a proper and necessary function for the economic and social well-being of our members.

TPTA President Maria Irshad, MPA, CAPP stated “We are thrilled to work with Dawn Marti and the DCM Management team to advance the efforts of the Texas Parking & Transportation Association. After considering numerous candidates, we felt that Dawn’s history and success supporting the needs of numerous industry associations with similar goals and vision would be an asset to helping us move TPTA into the future. Dawn’s experience producing both in-person and virtual events and conferences will be key to helping our organization support our members and organize future events, including our 2021 Annual Conference, April 12-15, 2021 at Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, TX.”

DCM Management is led by Dawn Marti. Marti has over 22 years of experience providing association management services for state, regional, and national parking associations. The firm oversees administrative and event planning for numerous industry associations including the New England Parking Council, the Florida Parking & Transportation Association, the Southwest Parking & Transportation Association, and many more. The firm also represents these organizations as the liaison to the International Parking & Mobility Institute and the National Parking Association.

For TPTA, DCM Management has also partnered with Leinart Consulting to provide marketing and communication services, as well as Savvy Gal Technical Solutions for website management. Leinart Consulting is led by Megan Leinart, CAPP and provides marketing and communication services for numerous industry professional associations, consultants, and organizations. Savvy Gal Technical Solutions is led by Heather Matthews. Heather is an experienced industry IT Professional, having previously worked with the University of Vermont, as well as provided website development for industry associations including NEPC, PPA, and SWPTA.

Upon accepting the new role with TPTA, Marti commented “I am honored for the opportunity to work with the TPTA, and am excited about the experience and skills that my team will bring to the organization. We look forward to helping the TPTA continue to grow, as well as support their efforts to serve as a resource for parking, transportation, and mobility professionals throughout Texas and beyond.”
